Pragmatic Approach: A Study of Politeness Strategies in Pakistani Morning Shows

The purpose of this study was to explore the use different politeness strategies in Pakistani Morning shows and find out highly frequently used strategies. It further explored factors affecting data collected from two morning “The Show” “Ek Nayee Subah with Farah”. Brown Levinson’s (1987) were utterances speakers. frequency using these counted influencing speakers choose analysed. findings revealed that hosts guests employed all fifteen sub-strategies positive maintain close relationship.
